You can watch the movies anytime since they are not canon, but you do want to try to watching them after certain parts of the series else-wise you will be spoiling various developments. If you want to watch every thing, including the movies, then this is for you. The filler isn’t so bad if you are just binging things, and it can play out some interesting, albeit meaningless, situations. The frustrating thing is that filler often sandwiches some actual canon episodes.
